Our time in Florida this past weekend was SO chock-full of fun that I decided to share it in two parts. See part I here!
Catching up where I left off, Saturday was the big day! My Goddaughter Grace received her First Communion and my heart was so full of joy, love and pride for this sweet little girl!
(Side bar – remember the Lilly dress I wore Friday in part I? Well, the above Lilly dress was also purchased from the same consignment store, Clementine, here in Richmond for $79!)
Their church, St. Michael Catholic Church, is so beautiful and get this, it was founded in 1872!

The area and homes around the church are just as amazing, this one is my favorite:
After the First Communion we went to lunch at a Thai restaurant and then back to the house for more fun… what can I say, we’re just a family full of silliness and great fashion y’all!
The weekend couldn’t go by without a boat ride and crabbin’ adventure too!
Dinner Saturday night was at La Mancha, a Brazilian restaurant that use to be a Shoneys of all things, but is now a local favorite. Make sure to order the flaming pig (chorizo) if you go!
Sunday we woke up bright and early to head to the airport, but made sure to celebrate Ry’s birthday during our layover in Atlanta with SweetWater and Pinkberry.
Opposites attract!
Back in Richmond, I planed a surprise get together on the rooftop bar at Ry’s favorite place, Postbellum, with friends and it was a blast! We’re so thankful for all our friends that came out on Mothers Day to celebrate!
We even got in a nightcap back at the house where the boys teased me about the snugness of Ryan’s “man cave”!
I don’t know how we’ll top a great weekend like that, but there is more fun to be had my friends! Stay tuned as we kickoff the Bachelorette viewing parties next week and countdown to our Housewarming Party on Memorial Day weekend! Woo hoo!
