Happy Monday and May y’all! Seriously can’t believe it’s already May. Will there ever be a point where I stop saying “where does the time go”?
Today I’m really excited about this Nursery Tour as round three of our Pink Door Blog Hop. Don’t forget to see the whole house tour here and my inspiration post here that were in the first two rounds.
I’m also making this a bit of a sourcing guide like I did for the other rooms in my house (living room, dining room, man cave, #girlboss office).
And don’t forget to enter to win a $100 gift card to Design Darling at the end of this post (+ a 15% off code for all)!
In Sully’s short little life she’s actually already had two different nurseries since we moved from Richmond to the DC area when she was only two months old (see her first nursery by scrolling down to our first home on this home tour page).
In her first room, I painted her ceiling coral pink and it was fab, but this nursery ceiling has beautiful tin tiles that definitely couldn’t be painted (+ we’re just renting). I missed that pop of something special in her room though, so this time around I had Lilly curtains made that give the room that something special.
Lilly Curtains
I actually got the fabric for these curtains from a queen duvet cover, sold at Garnet Hill, this is the First Impression Hotty Pink print. Then it was split into four panels and backed by blackout material. To ensure they reached all the way down to the floor and we got the best use of our fabric, we added the white trellis material to the top and covered the seam in a dainty lace.
I bought this from Pottery Barn Kids after being frustrated with not finding a smaller option for a decent price. Believe it or not, this ended up being the cheapest, even over homemade Etsy options.
Our rocker is super cheap (under $300) and you can find it here. I wouldn’t recommend it though because the fabric is so itchy if you’re feeding in it and there is this terrible creak that we can’t get to with WD-40. I added others I would spend the extra cash on in the gallery below.
Blanket
The blanket draped on the chair was made for me by my grandmother and passed down to Sully (although, this is her blankie of choice she carries everywhere).
Gold Moroccan Pouf
The gold moroccan pouf I bought off Ebay actually and it came filled already which is rare for poufs. We love it! The one I bought is sold out, but linked up others below.
I bought the rug off Craigslist, but it is originally from West Elm. It is so soft, we love this rug.
We could not have found a better dresser, the storage in this thing is great! It’s an awesome price from Ikea, but let me warn you it takes a TON of assembling so make sure you save some time to put it together. It also serves as our changing station which is great for a small room.
Evelyn Henson Map Prints
I framed a Greenville, SC, Charlotte and Richmond print by Evelyn Henson for Sully’s room because these are the cities where we were all born. I love this personal and cute touch.
I have started only buying linens for Sully’s room at Land of Nod after going through some Target ones very quickly. You just can’t beat the quality and comfort. This gold dot changing pad cover is no exception.
Blue Glass Lamp
Framed Invitation
The invitation for Sully’s Richmond shower was so adorable and matched her room perfectly, so I left a framed copy on her dresser.
Woven Basket
This basket holds her favorite bows, hair brush, nail clippers, Desitin and other knick knacks we need handy. Ours is sold out, but I love this option on sale under $10.
Fancy Kitty Doll
I love the cloth dolls from Pottery Barn Kids. This one is cute and entertains Sully while I change her diaper. Sold out, but how cute is this little swim cat one?!
Book Shelves
I knew a book wall in Sully’s room was must and was so glad when my MIL handed down these shelves to me. You can find a similar option here and here.
Woven Baskets
These are from Target last year, but if I was to choose baskets all over again, I would go for these pom pom baskets.
The room is so small it’s hard to get a great shot of her crib, but we love this cute white Jenny Lind crib.
Land of Nod for the win again!
What do you get when you combine a pink sprinkle donut, pom pom trim and a “You’re Sweet” saying? Only my favorite pillow ever. I got it from Live Sweet Shop.
Lilly Lumbar Pillow
I got this pillow before Sully was even born, again from Garnett Hill. I never got around to having it monogramed and good thing I didn’t because now it belongs to Miss Sully for her Lilly nursery.
Crib Skirt (not pictured)
I went for a basic white with a dainty ruffle on the bottom.
White Turned Leg Side Table
This white side table is simple and so cute, from Target.
This sweet bunny “piggy” bank from Tiffany was given to Sully as a gift and is so cute on her side table. I am kind of in love with this fun balloon bunny bank and this classic from Mackenzie Childs too.
This book is beautiful and will be fun to read to Sully when she gets older.
Blue Frame
This photo has been in my home since we got engaged as a reminder of that sweet day. Now Sully is enjoying seeing Mama and Dada in her room. Frame from Homegoods, but similar here and I love this personalized option.
Wall Art
Sully got lots of wall art for gifts and I love the personalized pink one at the top and the wood frame of “You Are My Greatest Adventure” below. Gifts, but how cute is this little camper option.
Large Stuffed Giraffe (on sale)
This was actually one of the first things we got for Sully’s nursery, a gift from her amazing Lala. I love this Melissa and Doug giraffe and so does Sully!
So there you have it folks, a little tour through baby girl’s room. What do you think? Let me know if you have any questions!
Also, don’t forget to hop on over to the other lady’s blogs I’m teaming up with today for tours of their adorable nurseries!
