Happy Cinco de Mayo friends!
I’ve recently had two people within the span of a week ask me to bring back my Five on Friday posts of things that I’m loving this week. I love getting these requests and reminders that you guys really are reading (and hopefully enjoying) the content shared here on Attention to Darling! 🙂
Don’t miss all the gorgeous photos like the one above from Jennifer Collins in this post!

Supporting new friends and great causes.
This week I attended an event for Nikki of Templeton Silver at Skinny Dip Charleston to support her nomination for Women of the Year for the Charleston Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The night came compete with champs, meeting fellow bloggers and small business owners and a flower arranging class with Ali of Fetes de Fleurs.
You guys, this amazing woman (Nikki, left) has beat cancer, not once but TWICE. Her story is incredible and so inspiring. Go read more here and don’t forget to set aside time to support your fellow community members and causes that matter to them!
PS: My top is on sale for $15 right now (I also bought this one at the same time in Clemson orange and love it)! You can find these fun blush tassel earrings here.

Last week we attend a really fun event here in Charleston called Diner en Blanc. I have big plans to write a whole post on it, but for now just had to share the white dress I wore to the event because it’s selling out quick. It’s just such a great price (under $100!) and SO cute, I got endless compliments.
I know a lot of my bride friends and readers are in the market for a good white dress and this one couldn’t be more perfect with it’s bell sleeves, high neck lace and open back. It also comes in black and there’s a top version here!

Cannonborough Collective is now open!
Speaking of supporting local friends, Liz of Charleston Weekender and Mimi of The Tiny Tassel just opened the doors to the cutest little space downtown called Cannonborough Collective that is full of local goods. I’m so happy for them and so excited to have such a fun space to shop in now! If you’re in town tomorrow (Saturday, May 6th) swing by and celebrate with them during their grand opening party!

My favorite daytime face cream.
I’ve been experimenting a lot with different day and night creams. I hate to review any of them before I get at least halfway through or all the way through and really know if they’re working. Well y’all, I’m almost to the bottom of my Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream and my next jar is already on the way!
Why do I love it so much? First off, the SMELL, it’s literally so fresh with the main scent being cucumbers. Second, it’s really hydrating without being heavy and making my makeup I layer on top look thick – know what I mean? Third, I really do feel like my skin looks healthier and more plump.

Picnics on the Battery.
On Sunday after recovering from a day of celebrating Sully’s 2nd birthday with family and friends on Saturday (that post is coming to you Monday!), Ryan and I were in dire need of some family time. Not to mention, there’s only been about 10 days in all of April that we were actually home and didn’t have someone visiting. So off to downtown we went to picnic with Caviar and Bananas on the Battery!
Sully’s dress is vintage Lilly (I’m loving this kids shift though!) // Shoes (now they have pink glitter ones!) // Bow
Sully had so much fun and thought it was hilarious that we were eating sitting on the ground on a blanket!
Have a great weekend you guys! Anyone have big plans?
