Hello Friday! I’m so excited because tonight we’re headed to the Royal Festival Hall to see HANSON (eek!) play with the Royal Symphony Orchestra. Ryan surprised me with these tickets forever ago for Valentine’s Day and I can’t believe the day is already here, it felt like it was so far away when he told me we were going.
Speaking of time flying – we only have 16 weeks left here in London! That is bananas. We were supposed to only be here 1 year exactly, but by the time we fly home, we’ll have been here 1 year and 1 month. Part of me already misses London and this time abroad, but a much larger piece of me CANNOT wait to be back in my own home with my pups and family and friends in Charleston.
Anyway, how about a little 5 on Friday?!
{ONE} One Day in December
If you know me, you know I’m always reading about 3-5 books at a time. I like to have a range for my mood whether it’s self-help, fiction, or non-fiction. I devoured One Day in December by Josie Silver last month and I can’t stop thinking about it! Maybe because I ride the double-decker buses here in London quite a lot, but regardless it’s a really cute and fun read if you haven’t already read it!
Also – don’t you worry, I’ll have an update on this stick on nail polish soon. I want to make sure it can stand up to a week of tough wear and tear :).
{TWO} Clean Beauty – the Eyebrow Gel Version
I talked about this on my Stories, but I am a FAN of brow gel. I have darker and thicker eyebrows (though I am trying to fill them back in after years of bad eyebrow waxes that have thinned them out). I love an eyebrow gel to keep all the hairs in place and add some structure. After trying approximately 17 different brow gels, I’ve found one that’s clean and works!
Enter the Beautycounter Brow Gel. Go lighter than you think or get the clear gel. I love that it’s made with cocoa seed butter, shea butter, coconut oil, and jojoba oil.
Better yet, they have a makeup routine called Flawless in 5 which is great for us Mamas on the go, and now you can get the brow gel through that + they have an offer for a free retractable brush with that set as well. Score!
PS: Make sure you’re shopping with me as a “consultant” via my link https://www.beautycounter.com/erinphillips1 so I can get credit for sending you that way. Any spare change I make here is going to a big “project” that we’ll be announcing soon!!! I’m so happy to be a Beautycounter blogger partner!
PPS: Speaking of beauty, here are the razors I talked about on my Live this week. They’re what I use to (gasp!) shave my face! 🙂
{THREE} Palm Tote
My social media and texts blew up this week with people sending me the new palm print tote and accessories from Barrington. They are all right, it is SO very me and would be a perfect work tote for my business, Pinckney Palm. LOVE!!!
While the tote is now so high on my wishlist, this passport case may need to be a right now purchase for our final travels while in Europe!
{FOUR} FASTer Way to Fat Loss
I’m on round two of my FASTer Way to Fat Loss program and this round is surprisingly really different. The first round I feel like I was just getting the ropes of intermittent fasting and the eating rotation. This round, I’m proud to say I’ve nailed the at-home workouts! There were two days this week I was having off days (which you might know from my late night IG rant :)) and didn’t get them in, but last week I worked out 6 out of 7 days! Who dis!!
My coach Stacy is fab, her next round starts on the 18th and I couldn’t recommend this program more! I lost 15 pounds last time and it has taught me so much about healthy eating and my body. It’s not just a diet and workout plan, it really forces you into a healthy life change which is what I needed.
Get in on the next round here.
{FIVE} Made for More on Amazon
Hi, my name is Erin Phillips and I’m obsessed with anything Rachel Hollis. I’ve talked about her book Girl, Wash Your Face here before and I’ve sent copies out to so many friends because I just love it so much. Rachel tells it like it is, makes you motivated to get your rear in gear, and does it with such reality and humor.
I booked tickets to her conference RISE in Dallas in July and in preparation, tuned into the Made for More documentary that is available on Amazon (free for Prime members!). Ryan was a champ and watched it with me.
You guys… the conversations that we paused the documentary and had were so rich. It surprisingly ended up being an awesome way for Ryan and I to connect over our goals, how we’re feeling about life at the moment, and more. Sounds a little mushy, but I can’t recommend you going to watch this documentary more!
{BONUS} Ryan and I are going Live tomorrow (Saturday 2/16 at 8AM EST)
I don’t know why, but I have felt a strong urge to share our experiences with you guys on Instagram Live lately. Ryan is going to join me and for this first round, we’re going to talk about how we met and how we got to where we are now – living abroad with a 3-year-old and traveling all over Europe!
That’s a wrap! I can’t wait to share our night with Hanson with y’all over on Instagram! Cheers to the weekend.
